A: BA - English (University of Georgia), MAT - Secondary English Education (Piedmont College), MA - Apologetics (Houston Christian University), MA - English Studies (Valdosta State University)

What year did you join MBCA?
A: 2026

What do you love about MBCA?
A: I love teaching writing and literature to high school students. I am excited about continuing to do so in a Christian environment.

What is your all-time favorite sports team?
A: Georgia Bulldogs, New York Yankees

What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?
A: "For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls." (I Peter 2:25)

What are three fun facts about yourself?
A: I grew up in Metro Atlanta and am returning to the area after twenty years elsewhere.
I collect books and own far too many.
I try to walk 7-10 miles a day.

A: Novels: Light in August; Sound and the Fury (Faulkner);
Longer Poetry: The Aeneid (Virgil) and Beowulf
Drama: Hamlet and King Lear (Shakespeare)
Poetry: T.S. Eliot and John Donne
