  • MBCA Family,

Thank you so much for your support of the 2024-2025 Annual Fund. It is an honor and privilege to serve as your Annual Fund chairs and contribute to our school in this capacity.
As a family with three children in our lower school, we have seen firsthand how each one of them, with their unique personalities and learning styles, is thriving in this nurturing environment. The individualized attention and diverse opportunities at MBCA have allowed them to grow academically and spiritually, building a strong foundation for their future. This year, they are excited to participate in some of the new after-school offerings, such as the Eaglettes Cheer Club and Robotics. These additional opportunities have proven to be immensely enriching for them.
While we are immersed in all things Lower School, we also have the chance to visit the Upper School Campus for our children’s community swim team practice. Here, we’ve witnessed the growth of the campus and the energy of the middle and upper school teams. It’s inspiring to watch these young athletes work together, push their limits, and support one another; it truly reflects the strong community we have at MBCA. We love seeing our children look up to these role models and feel motivated to excel in their own pursuits.

These daily activities with four children can feel busy—and they certainly keep us on our toes! But through each experience, we trust that our children are learning to develop strong character, cultivate a passion for excellence, and embrace the Gospel. The same values we strive to instill at home and through our church worship are also reinforced at school. Together, we are building a foundation of integrity, purpose, and service that will guide all of our children throughout their lives.

As we look to the future, it’s easy to feel that many aspects of our society are lost or uncertain. Yet, we have hope because our hope comes from the Lord. The work to be done is significant, but we believe God works through us, and MBCA’s dedication to its mission is truly encouraging.

We wholeheartedly believe that your gift, at any level, will enrich our community and enable us to continue to impact our school in meaningful ways. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy is the beloved school we know because of families and faculty who generously give their time, talents, and resources to build a legacy for our children and our community. Your participation is not just appreciated; it is essential. We pray that God will work through our gifts and provide abundantly.

In Christ,

Hank & Kristin Windhorst

About the Fund

Independent schools such as Mt. Bethel Christian Academy traditionally conduct an annual giving campaign in the fall of each year. Some schools call it the Annual Sustaining Fund. Others call it the Loyalty Fund. We simply call ours the Annual Fund. The goals for the 2024-2025 Annual Fund are: One hundred percent parent, faculty, and board participation and $800,000.

The Annual Fund is a source of supplemental revenue used to augment the operating budget and address needs that tuition cannot provide. Your participation, in the form of a tax deductible gift, is very important to us. Gifts will support every aspect of the school's mission and provide MBCA with the resources it needs to enrich the superior, Christ-centered learning environment our students deserve.
  • Attracting and retaining the best faculty and staff

All members of the Mt. Bethel community – parents, faculty, grandparents, board of trustees and other friends – are asked to contribute to the Annual Fund. Please also visit the Matching Gifts section of our website to learn more about doubling your contribution with a matching gift from your employer.

Annual Fund Versus Capital and Fundraising Campaigns

While there will be periodic appeals made for specific needs, the Annual Fund is an ongoing, annual vehicle to enhance the excellence of our Academy for which there is no other revenue source. There may be Capital Campaigns from time to time which are used to address specific construction or renovation projects of a long term nature.

The Academy is so very thankful to the many faithful and generous supporters, parents, grandparents and friends, who choose to make financial gifts to the Academy. Their commitments help us continue to build the highest standards and to achieve an increasingly outstanding facility. To honor our contributors, Mt. Bethel Christian Academy recognizes the following giving levels in the Annual Report of Donors.
